First Fence is excited to present the PaliFence® LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) Palisade Security Fencing Kit, an incredibly versatile solution tailored to address a wide range of high-security perimeter control needs. This cutting-edge system proudly holds an SR1 (A1) rating in accordance with LPS 1175 standards, offering an elevated level of security when compared to traditional palisade fences. Available in kit form, this product is offered in a range of heights and as a dig-in or bolt-down format, making it compatible with a huge range of ground surfaces and terrains.
The PaliFence® security-rated palisade fencing range is certified under the stringent LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) rules and guarantees a sixty-second delay against an opportunist assault using a selection of tools from Toolkit A. The testing criteria use a particular set of hand tools that represent the types of easily concealed items a criminal may carry with them to enable a break-in when an opportunity presents itself. The objective of the testing is to evaluate how well the security product withstands an attack attempt using commonly used burglary tools, and it must meet a very particular set of criteria to achieve the security rating and show its effectiveness as a deterrent. This one-minute delay could prove invaluable in terms of an on-site security team thwarting a perimeter breach.
Crafted from hot-dip galvanised steel conforming to ISO 1461 standards, this system is designed to deliver robustness and durability. The galvanisation process affords the product substantial protection against rust and corrosion, a crucial attribute for an item intended for permanent outdoor installation and use, especially as a security barrier. Additionally, the system offers the flexibility of polyester powder coating in an extensive array of RAL colours, further enhancing its protective features. This coating not only provides an elevated level of defence but also imparts a refined, high-quality finish, allowing it to seamlessly integrate with its surroundings or an existing scheme. All powder coating adheres to BS EN 13438 standards.
The PaliFence® SR1 (A1) security-rated system is provided in kit form, including 19 palisade pales, 3 cross rails, and a steel IPE post. With a standard palisade bay consisting of 17 pales, the addition of 2 pales results in a reduction in the spacing between centres (135mm from pale centre to pale centre). This configuration makes it more challenging for potential attackers, as they would need to remove a greater number of pales to create a sufficiently large opening. The increased effort required serves as a deterrent to individuals attempting unauthorised access.
This palisade security fencing, designed for high security, incorporates three cross rails positioned at the top, bottom, and middle. This arrangement effectively minimises bending in the event of an attack. Furthermore, the bottom rail is strategically placed at a low height, ensuring that even if someone manages to breach it, the space underneath remains too narrow for a body to pass through.
The fasteners for this security system undergo galvanisation and patch treatment, featuring anti-vibration technology to deter unauthorised removal of nuts and bolts in the event of an attack.
The PaliFence® LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) Palisade Security Fencing Kit is available in a bolt-down or dig-in format, so it is compatible with most ground type. However, always carry out an assessment prior to making your purchase. The bolt-down format comes with the required SR1-tested ground anchor bolts, the dig-in format will require a minimum concrete foundation of 700 x 300 x 300mm with C20/25 grade concrete. Post Mix can be added to your purchase, and we recommend 3 bags per post.
When correctly installed, this fencing has a 50mm ground clearance. This system accommodates sloping ground with ease, offering versatility for different terrains. PaliFence® is certified for gradients from 0 to 30°.
