Features and Benefits

The PaliFence® single leaf security gate, standing at 2.0m, comes in widths ranging from 1.0 to 5.0m, making it suitable for various scenarios, whether it's serving as an entry point for pedestrians or providing access for vehicles.

First Fence offers the single leaf format, specifically crafted to complement the PaliFence® Fencing range. Additionally, they are adaptable to different ground surfaces and are available in both dig-in and bolt-down configurations. Generally, softer ground suits the dig-in format, while harder surfaces favour the bolt-down option. If uncertain, it's advisable to assess the ground or consult our sales team for guidance.

The PaliFence® Single Leaf Gate Kit includes a gate leaf, hinge, catch post, and three adjustable gate eye bolts. These three adjustable gate eyes ensure compliance with BS EN 12604 standards. Even if one hinge were to fail, the gate would remain secure, preventing any potential damage or injury. Each gate eye is fastened with a shear nut, ensuring it cannot be tampered with once installed.

Crafted from hot-dip galvanised steel that adheres to ISO 1461 standards, this product is ideal for long-term outdoor installation and usage. It offers substantial protection against rust, corrosion, and typical wear and tear, ensuring durability and longevity. The gates can also be polyester powder coated, giving the product a superb, polished finish and some extra protection.

This security-rated palisade fencing gate is equipped with three cross rails strategically positioned, one at the top, one at the bottom, and one in the middle. This arrangement minimises bending under attack. Moreover, the bottom rail is positioned low enough that, even if breached, the space beneath remains too small for a person to pass through. The fixings for this security system are galvanised, patch-treated, and incorporate anti-vibration technology, deterring unauthorised removal of nuts and bolts during an attack.

The gate is secured in the closed position with the sliding latch bolt. Choose from our recommended range of Squire Stronghold approved Secure By Design (SBD) padlocks. Note that for gates to be compliant with LPS 1175 standard, one of these padlocks must be fitted.

Installation made easy

The PaliFence® single leaf gate is available in a dig-in or bolt-down format, you will need to assess your ground conditions before making your choice. The bolt-down option comes with four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts for each post. Post Mix (C20/25) is required for the dig-in post option and is available as an extra purchase. It is recommended that you use four bags per post and that you use either C20 or C25 post mix. This gate has a 50mm ground clearance.
