Size 8 Tube Offset 90° Crossover (A28) Key Clamp Fitting

The Offset 90° Crossover, also known as an A28 tube clamp fitting, has been specifically designed so that it is able to be used within guardrail or handrail structures. This fitting consists of two long tubes which will be fitted through the holes of the key clamp and will ultimately position the tubes to cross at a 90° angle. Often featuring within a guardrail application, more tubes may be joined in the future, in order to achieve this, you can use an External Tube Connector (A8) or an Inline Internal Tube Connector (A9). You may find the A28 on clothing rails in shops.

Please Note: The two tubes that are to be used in conjunction with this particular A28 fitting must be a Size 8 and have an outside diameter of 48.3mm.

Installation is made quick and easy with no need for expensive tools or equipment, all that is required is a Hex Key; this is used to tighten the grub screws within the structure and ensure that everything is secured in place. A Hex Key is not included within the purchase of this fitting and so will need to be ordered separately.

Manufactured in galvanised steel, the A28 has an added layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and corrosion, this means that it requires very little to no maintenance after installation.
