Palisade Fencing is a very popular choice when a medium level of security is called for. It is designed for permanent installation and is a very strong and durable product that is used in commercial and industrial settings, and in some public areas too.
It provides a very effective way of protecting a site from intruders and acts as a theft deterrent as it is quite intimidating in appearance. The pale ends have defined shapes that are hard to grasp and will cause damage if fallen on.
Installation is a relatively easy process with the correct tools and accessories. But have you ever been in a situation where you have lost a bolt, or you have scuffed the paint work when installing a palisade product? How annoying to not be able to finish the job due to a missing snap-off nut! In addition, maintenance is important to keep the integrity of the fencing system and any minor repairs should be carried out as soon as they are noticed.
First Fence has put together a very useful Fix It Kit for these situations, and it contains two straight fishplates, two M12 x 30mm Nuts and Bolts, five M8 x 25mm Nuts and Bolts, and a can of touch up spray paint (for PPC finish only).
Straight Fishplates are used to connect palisade fencing in straight lines. Each is manufactured from galvanised steel which is a robust and durable material; the galvanising process adding extra protection from damage and the effects of adverse weather. The snap off security bolts prevent tampering by vandals or intruders and keep the fishplate securely in place.
Included in the kit (if the PPC option is selected) is a can of spray paint to touch up any scuffs or scratches that may happen during installation or by everyday accidents. It is important to touch up any damage as these areas can become rusty and eventually may need a bigger repair or replacement. We have sprays cans available in green, black, blue and red.
