The EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Double Leaf Gate Kit, measuring 2.4m in height and 5.0m in width, offers complete flexibility in access control. This is the tallest height available in the range and it effectively manages entry by allowing the operation of either one or both leaves. It is advisable to include a locking drop bolt with the double leaf format, available to add to your purchase.

The EnviroRail® Double Gates are a fully modular and ultra lightweight solution, ensuring quick and straightforward installation for a large, diverse range of hardware. Their universally handed format offers on-site flexibility without fixed left or right-hand specifications, allowing adjustments in case the gates move, a significant advantage over fixed hardware.

What distinguishes these double gates is their dedication to eco-friendly production. Employing an innovative low-weld method with bespoke laser-cut pre-galvanised components ensures robust connections without the need for resource-intensive and energy-consuming welding. The EnviroRail® Play Sec Gate Kit is crafted from pre-galvanised steel, meeting BS 10346 standards. It undergoes an additional polyester powder coating, creating a dual-layered protection that enhances durability and resilience. This dual shield ensures consistent functionality by providing resistance to harsh outdoor elements, while also preserving its aesthetic appeal throughout the years.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

The double-leaf gate kit comprises two hinge posts, two Play Sec Railing leaves, and six adjustable gate eyes. With three hinges per leaf, the gate conforms to BS 12604 standards, guaranteeing safety even in the unlikely event of hinge failure. The gate hooks are skilfully welded to the gate post, creating a fixed-axis hinge that eradicates any vertical movement.

The installation process is made easier with pre-drilled holes for gate eyes and a drop bolt. To maintain a polished appearance and prevent water accumulation, plastic plugs are provided to cover any unused openings on the gate attack face. The gate is specifically crafted to seamlessly integrate with our security locks, offering up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post and facilitating a straightforward installation.

Safety Compliance

The gate rails set at 100mm centres prevent entrapment, and the top bows of 90mm prevent wrist or neck trapping. The rail positioning allows parents, guardians, or supervisors for easy supervision of children while playing. This enhances overall safety and reduces the risk of accidents. The design and manufacture of the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate fully comply with BS EN 1176 regulations.

The gate provides a 50mm ground clearance when correctly installed, with the gate opening 90° in and out.

Available in various heights and widths, these gates come in a dig-in or bolt-down version, suitable for diverse environments. The dig-in variant requires the addition of Post Mix to the order, while the bolt-down version requires four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
