Features and Advantages

The EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate distinguishes itself through an innovative and environmentally-conscious production process. This involves the use of custom, laser-cut pre-galvanised, interlocking elements that form sturdy connections when pressed together during assembly. This not only ensures a robust manufacture with strong bonds but also minimises reliance on energy-intensive welding. It aligns with the requirements of customers prioritising a reduced environmental footprint in the manufacturing process.

Constructed from quality pre-galvanised steel adhering to BS 10346 standards, enhanced with polyester powder coating in standard or non-standard RAL colours, this product is engineered for permanent outdoor installation, enduring diverse weather conditions.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

EnviroRail® Gates offer a versatile and straightforward installation system characterised by modularity and lightweight design, working perfectly with a range of gate hardware. Their universal handedness provides unmatched on-site adaptability, eliminating the constraints of a fixed left or right-hand leaf. This modular functionality allows for adjustments, providing flexibility beyond what fixed hardware can offer.

The single leaf gate kit, standing at a height of 2.4m, includes a hinge and catch post, a Play Sec Railing leaf, and three adjustable gate eyes. With three hinges adhering to BS 12604 standards, safety is maintained, even in the rare event of a hinge failure. The gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post for added security, and fixed-axis hinges provide stability.

Pre-drilled holes simplify the attachment of gate eyes and a drop bolt, accompanied by plastic plugs to discreetly cover any unused holes on the gate attack face. The gate seamlessly integrates with security locks, offering an adjustment of up to 30mm from the catch post for a straightforward installation process. The UniSlide Slider Single Gate Kit comes included with all EnviroRail single gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.

Safety Compliance

Rails set at 100mm centres prevent entrapment, and top bows at 90mm prevent wrist or neck traps. The design and manufacture of the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate adhere to BS EN 1176 regulations.

Available in various heights and widths, these gates are offered in dig-in or bolt-down versions, suitable for most types of ground substance. For the dig-in variant, Post Mix must be added to the order, and the bolt-down version requires four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
