The EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Double Leaf Gate Kit, with proportions of 2.0m in height and 6.0m in width, offers the user total gate access control. This gate performs superbly in terms of entry management by enabling the operation of either one or both leaves. For additional security, it is advisable to include a locking drop bolt with the double leaf format, available as an additional purchase option.

The EnviroRail® Double Gates present a lightweight and fully modular system that is equipped for swift installation of a variety of gate hardware kits. These gates have a universal handing, providing maximum flexibility on-site when choosing the preferred leaf orientation. The modular functionality gives adjustability in case the gates move, which fixed hardware doesn't give.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

These double leaf gates are notable for their environmentally conscious manufacturing process. Using a low-weld technique on custom laser-cut pre-galvanised components ensures strong joins without resource-intensive welding, making it an ideal choice for environmentally conscious customers, a feature First Fence takes pride in providing.

Every EnviroRail® Play Sec Gate Kit is made from pre-galvanised steel, meeting BS 10346 standards, and coated with polyester powder for extended durability. This dual-layered protection guarantees long-lasting functionality, resisting outdoor elements and maintaining aesthetic appeal for years.

The kit for the double-leaf gate includes two hinge posts, two Play Sec Railing leaves, and six adjustable gate eyes. Featuring three hinges per leaf, the gate adheres to BS 12604 standards, ensuring safety even in the rare occurrence of a hinge failure. The gate hooks are securely welded to the gate post, providing a fixed-axis hinge that eliminates any up and down movement.

Pre-drilled holes streamline the installation of gate eyes and a drop bolt, complemented by plastic plugs to conceal any unused openings on the gate attack face, ensuring a polished appearance and preventing water accumulation. Crafted for seamless compatibility with our security locks, the gate allows for up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, streamlining the installation process. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.

Safety Compliance

The rails, spaced at 100mm intervals, avert entrapment, while the 90mm top bows prevent trapping of wrists or necks. The design and production of the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate adhere entirely to the BS EN 1176 regulations.

The gate provides a 50mm ground clearance when correctly installed, with the gate opening 90° in and out.

Available in various heights and widths, these gates come in a dig-in or bolt-down version, suitable for diverse environments. The dig-in variant requires the addition of Post Mix to the order, while the bolt-down version requires four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
