Features and Advantages

The EnviroRail® Vertical Double Leaf Gate Kit, with dimensions of 1.8m in height and 2.0m in width, offers flexible access control options. This is one of the taller gates available in this range and effortlessly combines security with stylish good looks. Nothing beats a double leaf gate for flexibility of access; you can choose between one or both leaves in open or closed positions. Choose a locking drop bolt for additional safeguarding.

While resembling a typical vertical bar railing product, this gate kit sets itself apart through an eco-conscious manufacturing method. Employing an innovative technique that minimises the amount of required welding, it utilises custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised components that securely interlock when pressed together. This significantly reduces reliance on energy and resource-intensive welding practices, making it an ideal choice for those concerned about the environmental impact of gate production.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

The EnviroRail® Double Gates provide a fully modular and relatively lightweight solution, ensuring easy installation for various hardware requirements. With universal handing, they offer on-site flexibility, eliminating fixed left or right-hand specifications. The modular functionality allows for adjustability in case the gates move, providing a level of flexibility that fixed hardware doesn't offer.

Each gate comes with pre-drilled holes, simplifying the attachment of six adjustable hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the visible side. A locking drop bolt option is available for purchase and is highly recommended for a double leaf gate.

The kit comprises two EnviroRail® gate leaves, two gate posts, and six adjustable gate eyes (three for each leaf), meeting BS 12604 safety standards to ensure stability even if one hinge fails. Additionally, the gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post. giving a fixed-axis hinge. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.

Offered in various heights and widths, our gate kits are available in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer terrain like turf and soil and requires Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces like concrete, secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post, available for inclusion in your order. The gates have 50mm ground clearance.
