The EnviroRail® Double Gates are a fully modular and ultra lightweight gate solution, ensuring easy and swift installation for a range of gate hardware. Their universally handed configuration offers on-site flexibility without fixed left or right-hand specifications, allowing adjustments in case the gates move, a significant advantage over fixed hardware.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

Each EnviroRail® Play Sec Gate Kit is manufactured from pre-galvanised steel, complying with BS 10346 standards, and is additionally coated with polyester powder for enhanced durability and resilience. This dual-layered protection ensures long-lasting functionality, providing resistance against challenging outdoor elements while preserving its aesthetic appeal for years to come.

The kit for the double-leaf gate includes two hinge posts, two Play Sec Railing leaves, and six adjustable gate eyes. Featuring three hinges per leaf, the gate adheres to BS 12604 standards, ensuring safety even in the rare occurrence of a hinge failure. The gate hooks are securely welded to the gate post, providing a fixed-axis hinge that eliminates any up and down movement.

The presence of pre-drilled holes makes the installation of gate eyes and a drop bolt straightforward. Additionally, plastic plugs are included to cover any unused openings on the gate attack face, ensuring a neat and water-resistant finish. Designed to work seamlessly with our security locks, the gate enables up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, facilitating a straightforward installation process. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.

Safety Compliance

The gate rails set at 100mm centres prevent entrapment, and the top bows of 90mm prevent wrist or neck trapping. The rail positioning allows parents, guardians, or supervisors for easy supervision of children during play. This enhances overall safety and reduces the risk of accidents. The design and manufacture of the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate fully comply with BS EN 1176 regulations.

The gate provides a 50mm ground clearance when correctly installed, with the single leaf gate opening 90° in and out.

Available in various heights and widths, these gates come in a dig-in or bolt-down version, suitable for diverse environments. The dig-in variant requires the addition of Post Mix to the order, while the bolt-down version requires four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
