The EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Double Leaf Gate Kit, with proportions of 1.2m in height and 5.0m in width, gives optimal access control. Though this is a lower height gate it is one of the widest available and it performs wonderfully in terms of entry management by enabling the operation of either one or both leaves; nothing beats a double leaf gate for this kind of versatility. For additional security, it is advisable to include a locking drop bolt with the double leaf format, available as an additional purchase.

The EnviroRail® Double Gates present the user with a lightweight and totally modular approach, enabling a swift installation experience, catering to a variety of gate hardware kits. These gates are universally handed, giving ultimate on-site flexibility in terms of selecting the preferable leaf orientation. The modular functionality gives adjustability in case of gate movement, which fixed hardware doesn't grant.

These double gates excel in eco-friendly manufacturing. Employing a low-weld technique on custom laser-cut pre-galvanised components ensures robust joins without resource-intensive welding. Each EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate Kit is crafted from pre-galvanised steel, adhering to BS 10346 standards, and coated with polyester powder for enhanced durability. This two-layered protection ensures enduring functionality, withstands outdoor elements, and preserves aesthetic appeal for years to come.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

The kit for the double-leaf gate includes two hinge posts, two Play Sec Railing leaves, and six adjustable gate eyes. Featuring three hinges per leaf, the gate adheres to BS 12604 standards, ensuring safety even in the rare occurrence of a hinge failure. The gate hooks are securely welded to the gate post, providing a fixed-axis hinge that eliminates any up and down movement.

Pre-drilled holes simplify the installation of gate eyes and a drop bolt, complemented by plastic plugs to conceal any unused openings on the gate attack face, ensuring a polished appearance and preventing water accumulation. Designed to work seamlessly with our security locks, the gate enables up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, facilitating a straightforward installation process.

Safety Compliance

The gate rails set at 100mm centres prevent entrapment, and the top bows of 90mm similarly prevent wrist or neck trapping. The rail positioning allows parents, guardians, or supervisors for easy supervision of children during play. This enhances overall safety and reduces the risk of accidents. The design and manufacture of the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate fully comply with BS EN 1176 regulations.

The gate provides a 50mm ground clearance when correctly installed, with the gate opening 90° in and out.

Available in various heights and widths, these gates come in a dig-in or bolt-down version, suitable for diverse environments. The dig-in variant requires the addition of Post Mix to the order, while the bolt-down version requires four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
