These gates, which are designed to work with the popular EnviroRail® Vertical Railings, are available in an extensive choice of height and widths, and in both dig-in and bolt-down formats, which enables full adaptability to your ground substances, whether it be hard or soft. Manufactured from Pre-Galvanised Steel conforming to BS EN 10346 and then polyester powder coated in a selection of RAL colours, these gates provide a stylish and robust gate solution that will give many years of dependable performance.

Features and Benefits

The EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Double Leaf Gate Kit has an installed height of 1.2m and width of 4.0m and is ideal for the larger breadth gate or driveway. This gate size allows easy entry and exit for visitors both on foot and smaller vehicles, and the double-leaf gate design gives you full access control by allowing you to select whether one or both leaves to be open or closed.

This gate distinguishes itself from other products available on the market with its more environmentally-friendly manufacturing approach. By adopting a new, low-weld technique on custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised elements, it assures hard-wearing connections without the need for excessive resource-intensive and energy-consuming welding. This makes it such a great choice for the customer who wishes to have lower environmental impact, an aspect that First Fence takes pride in offering with this product range.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

First Fence's EnviroRail® Double Gates represent a stylish, fully modular, and lightweight gate solution, ideal for a huge range of locations due to their sleek and uncomplicated design. Their universally handed design gives the customer enhanced on-site flexibility, without fixed left or right-hand specifications, allowing adjustments in case the gates move, a significant advantage over fixed hardware.

Each gate in the kit comes with pre-drilled holes, which simplifies the installation of the six adjustable gate eye hinges and locking drop bolt and generally speeds up the whole installation process. Plastic hole plugs are included in the kit to conceal any unused openings on the attack face, and a locking drop bolt is available as an optional addition, highly recommended for double-leaf gate security.

The kit comprises two EnviroRail® gate leaves, two gate posts, and six adjustable gate eyes (three for each gate leaf), which means this gate adheres to BS 12604 safety guidelines for gate stability, even if one hinge were to fail. This is essential for preventing injury to people and property damage. The gate hooks are securely welded to the gate post forming fixed-axis hinges that stop vertical movement. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
 

Offered in various heights and widths, the gate kits are available in both dig-in and bolt-down versions, catering to installation needs in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer terrain such as grass and soil, requiring Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post.

Compatible with our security locks, available to add to your order, this gate kit allows up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post when installed correctly, with the gates having 50mm ground clearance.
