This gate, rooted in an environmentally-aware design, is ideal for establishing secure perimeters around parks and play areas, with a primary focus on ensuring the safety of children while enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the surroundings.

Each EnviroRail® Play Sec Gate Kit is made from pre-galvanised steel, meeting BS 10346 standards, and then further coated with polyester powder, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh and challenging outdoor conditions. This dual-layer protection guarantees not only reliable functionality but also the preservation of aesthetic appeal over an extended period. A diverse range of RAL colours is available to personalise your gate's finish.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
The EnviroRail® gate series offers complete modularity and a lightweight system, facilitating swift installation and accommodating a variety of gate hardware. Universally handed, these gates provide on-site flexibility without specific right or left-hand specifications, simplifying the decision-making process during installation. This modular functionality ensures adjustability, a feature fixed hardware cannot provide.
The single-leaf gate kit includes a hinge and catch post, a Play Sec Railing leaf, and three adjustable gate eyes. Compliance with BS 12604 standards is ensured by three hinges, guaranteeing safety even in the unlikely event of one hinge failing. The gate hooks, fully welded to the gate post, establish a fixed-axis hinge, eliminating potential vertical movement.
Pre-drilled holes facilitate the attachment of gate eyes and a drop bolt, with plastic plugs included to cover unused holes on the gate's attack face. Compatible with security locks, the gate allows for up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, ensuring a hassle-free fitting process.
Safety Compliance
The rail spacing at 100mm intervals minimises the risk of entrapment, and the 90mm top bows prevent potential hazards to wrists or necks. The design and production of the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate adhere to the regulations outlined in BS EN 1176.
The gate offers 50mm ground clearance when correctly installed, opening 90° in and out as a single leaf gate.
Offered in a range of heights and widths, these gates are provided in either dig-in or bolt-down versions, catering to diverse environmental needs. To accompany the dig-in variant, include Post Mix with your order, while the bolt-down version necessitates four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
