Product Description

Badger Netting

Badger Netting is specifically designed to keep out badgers and other potential predators in order to keep your land safe. This wire mesh fencing is a durable method of excluding badgers whilst not hurting them in the process.

We understand the importance of protecting your livestock and land from badgers as they can spread TB, which can be detrimental to your livelihood. Our badger netting is designed to reduce the risk of this happening whilst also ensuring that any animal, including the Badgers, will not injure themselves on the netting.

Standing at 103cm above ground, this badger netting is a secure way to surround your perimeters. The netting should be buried to 30cm, then turned out 25cm in order to leave that ground height. This badger mesh fencing is easy to install as they needs fewer posts; therefore, is a cost-effective method of protection in comparison to mild steel.

Uses

Compliant to BS EN 10223-5/10244-2, you can rely on us to provide a strong and durable badger protection fence. With this in mind, you can use the agricultural wire fence for a variety of different uses, like:

  • Badger netting
  • Embankment Netting
  • Perimeter safety
  • Under hedges, roadside protection

The high tensile badger netting meets Highways Agency specifications H46 and H47. Meaning that you can safely use the netting in a wide variety of different scenarios.

Badger netting can be installed using either creosoted posts or standard treated timber posts. Creosoted posts offer superior long-term durability and resistance to rot, making them ideal for heavy-duty or high-moisture environments. Standard timber posts provide a reliable and cost-effective alternative, suitable for general-purpose installations while still offering good stability and performance.

Storage and Transportation

When rolled, the netting is 50m in length with a weight of 88kg, making it manageable to manoeuvre and install. Additionally, when rolled the wire mesh can easily be stored without taking up much space.
