The Armco Wall Mounting Plate provides a secure way to fix Armco Barriers or Posts directly to suitable walls. Supplied as a complete kit with the required bolts and fixings, it offers a practical alternative to traditional floor-mounted posts.

Ideal for warehouses, depots and other busy industrial environments, wall mounting helps protect walls and infrastructure from vehicle impact while also reducing trip hazards by removing the need for traditional barrier posts.

How Many Wall Mounting Kits Do You Need?

Wall Mounting Plates should generally be positioned at the end of a run, with the Armco rail supported in the middle. As a guide:

• 1.6m Armco Rail: 2–3 Wall Mounted Kits recommended
• 3.2m Armco Rail: 3–4 Wall Mounted Kits recommended

End of a run: 1 additional Wall Mounted Kit required to finish the system correctly

Please note: Each Wall Mounting Kit contains one plate, so multiple plates will be required to securely fix your Armco system to a wall.

Installation

The Wall Mounting Plate is installed using the bolts and fixings supplied within the kit. It should be fixed to sound structural masonry or concrete capable of supporting the barrier system.

Unlike traditional Armco installations, which use dig-in or bolt-down posts fixed to the ground, wall mounting allows the rails to be attached directly to a suitable wall. This can be particularly useful in areas where floor-mounted posts would take up valuable space or create a potential trip hazard.
