Armco RSJ Post Top Cap
The L Beam protection caps, also known as RSJ Post Caps, main usage is to provide a clearly visible addition to the post to aid protection from damage or injury in an industrial or commercial environment. This can range from building protection to individual safety, for example if many heavy-duty vehicles are entering the premises, they can be used to not only protect the company building but also the driver and other pedestrians. The prominence of the yellow caps makes the beams themselves more noticeable.
If high visibility is required, the yellow caps add to the clear indication of where the barriers are positioned for motor and pedestrian traffic. The yellow ends are used mainly for vehicular traffic areas and vehicle safety whereas the black is normally for front of house situations to provide a more stylish appearance.
These ensure that the barriers are always visible in poor light or weather conditions due to the traffic yellow colour. This is imperative to ensure the safety of the workers and/or pedestrians. As well as increasing the visibility, the top caps also cover the ends of the RSJ posts to prevent any injury from the sharp steel edges left over from the galvanization process, helping to contribute towards a safe Armco Barrier system.
Installation
