The top section is partly infilled giving a good range of visibility through it, but the solid infill of the bottom section creates a sturdy barrier that gives a sense of privacy and seclusion.

Aluminium is an excellent choice of material for a gate, particularly in the UK with its challenging, often wet and cold weather, as it has a natural resistance to corrosion. It can also withstand salt corrosion meaning if you live on the coast, a gate made from aluminium is a superb choice.

The Aluminium Double Swing Driveway Gate has a polyester powder coating of black or grey and this gives it a wonderful, finished look. It also gives some protection from damage and weathering. This gate is available in the following heights: 1.6m, 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.2m, and includes 4 wall-mounted hinges and 2 floor-mounted hinges. When taking your measurements you will need to allow an extra 50mm for these. Gate posts are available to match the gate, however they are only needed if there is nothing to fix it to. The lock and handle for the gate can be purchased as an add on for an additional price and it will be fitted to the gate before delivery.

This gate needs very little maintenance, to restore its good looks you just need to wash it down with some soapy water and rinse away any residue. An eco-friendly option too, as aluminium is readily recyclable.
