6 inches Plain Concrete Gravel Boards
Our Gravel Boards, which are also known as kicker boards, can be slotted into either a concrete or a timber fence post in order to support a timber overlap panel, which are also available for purchase on our website. Being reinforced plain concrete, this board is 6 inches high and 6ft wide. They are mainly used for modern garden designs, commercial fencing projects and agricultural fencing.
Gravel Boards increase and improve the life expectancy of any fencing panels, they do this by lifting the panels away from the ground which reduces the risk of the timber rotting, as it may if it was fitted at ground level. Providing added rigidity to the structure, means that the line or perimeter is more study and resistant to poor weather conditions, such as strong winds.
Also, Gravel boards are used to create a level surface for the fence panels to rest on, which can help to prevent the fence from sagging or leaning. They can also be used to hide the unsightly gap between the bottom of the fence panels and the ground.
6 inch plain concrete gravel boards are a strong and durable option for protecting your fence panels. They are easy to install and can be painted or stained to match your existing fence. To install all you need to do is dig a trench along the length of your fence and place the boards in the trench. Make sure the boards are level and secure them in place with concrete.
