By incorporating this 3.0m x 9.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate into your Palisade Security fencing system, you can provide a point of entry for vans and lorries who need to access your site. This palisade gate will allow you to control your site’s accessibility and maintain its security when no one is present. It is made up of two 4.5m wide gate leaves which can be both opened at the same time or individually. When closed, they join together in the centre where they can be fixed in place using the sliding latch bolt and drop bolts. Your palisade fencing and gate can be secured even further by using a Heavy-Duty Padlock to lock the sliding latch bolt entirely.
This palisade gate can be constructed in a range of locations, although its 3.0m height is considered to be most suitable for areas requiring a very high level of security to be put in place. Though this gate, along with your Palisade Security Fencing System, can be erected on various types of ground, it is imperative that the correct type of gate posts is employed as they will have different compatibilities with different grounds. So, for soft ground like grass Dig-In Posts should be used and for hard ground like concrete, Bolt Down Posts should be used. You can choose your required gate posts in the customisation section above.
Robust and long-lasting, this 3.0m x 9.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can offer great security on a permanent basis. It also has great stability even during high winds and stormy weather conditions. The palisade gate is manufactured from steel which has undergone a cold rolling process to mould its shape. The purpose of cold rolling is to make the steel become thinner and lighter in weight but without compromising its strength in any way. Within the palisade gate’s construction there are several steel pales. The profile of these pales is ‘W’ shaped, ultimately making them difficult to grip or gain a footing on, so climbing attempts are greatly restricted. The head of each pale also features one of five styles which also help to restrict climbing attempts. These pale styles are Round, Round and Notched, Flat, Single Pointed and Triple Pointed. Pointed pales are recommended if a form of theft deterrence is required. You can also find these options when ordering your Palisade Security Fencing System.
As this palisade gate has a risk of rusting, it is provided with a galvanised finish. This finish complies with the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard and consists of a zinc coating being applied to the steel. There is also the opportunity to polyester powder coat your gate. This finish is available in a range of standard RAL colours and will provide your palisade gate with better protection from weathering and damage and enable it to adopt a more attractive look. All of these options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.
We supply all 3.0m x 9.0m double leaf gates with a standard galvanised finish and triple pointed pales. For a polyester powder coated finish or different pale types, please select alternative options through customisation
You will receive your 3.0m x 9.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate order as an assembly kit. Your kit will include all the necessary parts and fixing required for assembly. We do not supply any Postfix cement or ground anchor bolts within our gate kits; therefore you should make an additional purchase for this if this is needed.
You can customise your gate through a range of options located at the top of this page. By customising your palisade gate you will be able to choose which posts, pales and finish your gate should feature or obtain a Heavy-Duty Padlock for extra gate security.
