This 3.0m x 3.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate is ideal for creating an access point to allow small vehicles like cars and forklifts to enter a site. It opens to a width of 3.0m, where it can enable only a single lane of traffic to pass through. The palisade gate is opened and closed by shifting the sliding bolt and lifting the drop bolt. When it is not in use, the gate works with the rest of the Palisade Security Fencing system to help protect the premises from intrusion. You may also provide your security fencing and palisade gate with extra security with the addition of a Heavy-Duty Padlock.
Standing 3.0m high, this palisade gate is perfect for use in areas where there is high risk to the level of security. It is extremely versatile as it can be assembled on a variety of ground types and this will ultimately determine which type of posts you should be using to erect your security fencing and palisade gate. For gates that are erected on hard ground types Bolt Down Posts should be used with suitable Anchor Bolts; whereas gates that are constructed on softer types of ground will require Dig-In Posts along with Postfix cement.
This palisade gate is strong, robust and dependable. It is made from cold rolled steel, which means that the steel is thinner and lightweight, but it still possesses a high level of strength from the way that the metal is folded. The palisade gate is also coated with zinc during its manufacture. This is called galvanisation and it is applied to make the steel more resilient to rust. All galvanised finishes conform to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards. There is also the option to polyester powder coat your 3.0m x 3.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate. By requesting this type of finish, your palisade gate is supplied with extra protection against wear and corrosion, which can sometimes cause damage. Polyester Powder Coating also gives your gate a colourful appearance and there is a range of RAL colours for you to choose from; which you can view in the customisation section above. You can also find these options when ordering your Palisade Security Fencing System.
Each pale that features within this 3.0m x 3.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate is designed to prevent any potential intruders accessing your site. The profile of each pale is ‘W’ shaped which makes it very difficult for the pales to be gripped onto; therefore climbing opportunities are effectively reduced. The top of each pale also includes either a Round and Notched, Round, Flat, Triple Pointed or Single Pointed design. The purpose of this is to restrict climbing over the palisade gate so that the security of your premises remains intact. As this gate is suitable for high security risk areas, you may want to consider having Triple Pointed or Single Pointed pales for your palisade gate, as these look more intimidating and work great as a theft deterrent. All of these customisation options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.
3.0m x 3.0m single leaf palisade gates will always be supplied galvanised and with triple pointed pales as standard. If you would like your gate to feature different types of pales or have a Polyester Powder Coating, you may make these modifications by selecting your preferred customisation options.
As 3.0m x 3.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gates require a number of different items for their assembly, we supply them as a kit. Each kit will include the correct quantity of all components which means that ordering time is reduced as items do not need to be calculated and ordered individually. Please note that Anchor Bolts and Postfix cement are not included within any of our kits. There is a range of customisation available for you to choose from so you can ensure that all of your palisade gate’s requirements are successfully met.
