3.0m High 358 Prison Mesh Security Fencing Kit with Clamp Bar
The 3.0m High 358 Prison Mesh Security Fencing Kit with Clamp Bar provides a strong, durable perimeter for high-risk and sensitive sites. Its tall, anti-climb design helps deter climbing, cutting and vandalism while maintaining excellent visibility for CCTV and security teams.
Ideal for prisons, infrastructure, transport hubs, industrial sites and other locations where security is a priority.
High-Security 358 Mesh
Manufactured from 4mm horizontal and vertical steel wires, the 358 mesh features tightly spaced 76.2mm x 12.7mm apertures.
The small openings make it extremely difficult to climb or cut using conventional hand tools, while the flush mesh surface helps prevent footholds and provides a safer solution for areas close to the public.
At 3.0m high, this fencing offers a substantial physical and visual security barrier.
Secure Clamp Bar Fixings
Each kit includes Clamp Bar fixings to securely attach the mesh panels to the posts.
The mesh is held firmly between two solid steel bars and bolted together to create a strong, tamper-resistant connection. This improves overall rigidity and helps prevent the mesh from being pried away from the posts.
Dig-In or Bolt-Down Installation
Choose the installation method to suit your site:
- Dig-In Posts: Ideal for soft or uneven ground. Posts are installed into excavated holes and secured using post-mix concrete (sold separately).
- Bolt-Down Posts: Suitable for hard, flat surfaces such as concrete. Posts are secured using M16 x 125mm anchor bolts (sold separately).
For a secure, tamper-resistant installation, we recommend using Torque Bits, which are designed specifically for the bolts supplied with the fencing kit.
Galvanised & Powder Coated
The 358 Prison Mesh system is pre-galvanised for protection against rust and corrosion, then powder coated for additional durability and a long-lasting finish.
The standard colour is RAL 6005 Green, with a wide range of alternative RAL colours available at no extra cost.
