3.0m High 358 Prison Mesh Security Fencing Kit
The 3.0m high 358 prison mesh security system comprises of 4mm thick horizontal and vertical wires, the sheer number of which makes it incredibly hard for any potential intruders to cut through. This mesh has openings that are 76.2mm wide by 12.7mm high, which means you can easily see what is happening on the other side of the perimeter making it compatible with CCTV systems. The openings in the security mesh are small enough that most people would be unable to get their fingers through, making this mesh incredibly difficult to climb up.
This type of fencing is available with two different types of post, dig in or bolt down. Dig in posts are fairly common and require holes to be dug and filled with post mix (sold separately) to support the post. Bolt down posts have been designed with a base plate which can be bolted down to strong solid ground such as concrete using anchor bolts (M16 x 125mm sold separately) to hold the post securely. This type of bolt is ideal when it is not feasible to dig holes for posts, for example in a car park.
Available with a Clip or Clamp fixing. Clamp Bar fixings are only available as a Dig In option. Clamp Bars add some additional security as they prevent attempts at prising open the join between panel and post.
Powder Coating Options
Our range of mesh fencing is pre-galvanised as well as having a RAL coloured powder coating. This double protective layer gives this fencing an extra long life with a high resistance to the effects of weathering and other external forms of damage such as vandalism.
Purchasing a torque bit is highly recommended as they are required when installing the mesh fencing security systems and have been specifically designed to fit the bolts that are included with our mesh fencing kits.
