This 2.4m x 2.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is great for enabling small vehicles like forklifts to enter a site. Easily attachable to 2.4m high Palisade Security Fencing structures, this gate can grant permitted vehicle access, as well as help to secure property and equipment. Containing two gate leaves, this palisade gate opens to a full width of 2.0m and is released and secured through the use of a sliding latch bolt and two drop bolts. To provide extra security to your gate you may use a Heavy Duty Padlock, which is available as a customisation option.
At 2.4m high, this palisade gate is suitable for areas requiring a high level of security. This gate can be installed on a variety of ground types and this is a factor that must be taken into consideration when constructing your Palisade Security Fencing System and gate, as the ground type will ultimately influence which gate posts you will be able to use. So, for soft ground like grass you should use Dig-In posts, but for hard ground like concrete you should be using Bolt Down posts. You will be able to request your required gate posts by completing the customisation section at the top of this page.
This 2.4m x 2.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is very robust and reliable. Made from cold rolled steel, this palisade gate is lighter in weight but still extremely strong. There are several pales that feature within the gate’s construction and each of these is designed to prevent intruders from making climbing attempts to gain access. With a ‘W’ shaped profile, the pales make it very hard for anyone to grip onto them or gain a footing. The tops of the pales also encompass a restrictive design to hinder, and often deter climbing attempts. Pointed pales will supply a form of theft deterrence to the palisade gate, whereas Round and Flat pales will provide the gate with more safety and less of an imposing look. To choose the appropriate pales for your palisade gate, please select them from the customisation section above. All of these options can also be found when ordering your Palisade Security Fencing System.
This palisade gate is also provided with a protective galvanised finish. Successfully meeting BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards, this type of finish helps to prevent rust forming on the steel. You can also choose a Polyester Powder Coating for your 2.4m x 2.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate. This type of finish will provide the palisade gate with an extra form of protection against damage and corrosion, along with giving it a more colourful appearance. You can request Polyester Powder Coating in a range of RAL colours. All of these customisable options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.
All 2.4m x 2.0m double leaf palisade gates will be supplied fully galvanised and with triple pointed pale types as standard, although these gate features may be altered through customisation
We supply all of our 2.4m x 2.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates as a kit. In your gate kit you will be given all of the relevant components for gate construction, therefore items will not need to be purchased separately. However, we do not include Postfix cement or Ground Anchors within your kit, so they will need to be ordered separately, if required.
We understand that our customers will have different requirements and preferences for their palisade gate, which is why we offer a number of customisation options for you to choose from within the order section of this page.
