Product Description

2.4m x 10/3 Corrugated Scaffold and Temporary Roofing Sheet

The 2.4m x 10/3 Corrugated Scaffold and Temporary Roofing Sheet is a versatile and cost-effective roofing solution for construction, agricultural and temporary applications.

Manufactured from galvanised steel, these corrugated sheets provide excellent strength and durability without the risk of rot, decay or insect damage associated with some alternative materials. Lightweight and easy to handle, they are quick to install and ideal for covering large areas or providing temporary protection following roof damage.

Strong & Weather-Resistant Design

The sheets feature a 10/3 corrugated profile with 10 rolls at 3" spacing and a 762mm (2'6") cover width.

Each sheet is:

  • 2.4m long
  • 0.6mm thick (24 gauge / 0.55–0.65mm)
  • 762mm cover width
  • 10/3 corrugated profile

The grooved profile adds strength and rigidity while allowing efficient water run-off, helping to prevent water from pooling on the roof. Galvanised steel also provides excellent resistance to harsh weather, fire and extreme heat, making these sheets suitable for demanding environments.

Installation note: It is recommended that sheets are overlapped by one corrugation.

Versatile Applications

Corrugated roofing sheets are widely used by scaffolding companies to create temporary roofs. They can be installed over a scaffold framework at a slight incline and secured using suitable roofing or corrugated sheeting couplers.

They are also suitable for:

  • Temporary roof coverings
  • Construction projects
  • Damaged roof protection
  • Agricultural buildings
  • Poultry houses
  • Sheds and barns
  • Animal enclosures
  • Roof cladding
  • Industrial and interior design projects

The traditional corrugated appearance is also known as corrugated iron, wriggly tin, wrinkly tin, corry tin, sinusoidal profile and roof cladding. Although commonly referred to as corrugated iron, these sheets are manufactured from steel.

Easy to Handle & Install

The lightweight design makes the sheets easy to transport, handle and install, while their corrugated profile provides structural strength without adding unnecessary weight to the supporting structure.

Their quick installation makes them particularly useful when temporary weather protection is needed at short notice, such as following a storm or wind damage.

Storage & Handling

Store the sheets indoors, away from the elements and in a dry environment to help prevent white rust from forming before installation. The edges of the sheets can be sharp, so protective gloves should always be worn when handling them.
