Combining strength and stability with a high level of visibility, the 2.4m high x 1.2m wide pedestrian gate is the ideal access solution for pedestrians to your site. What is Palisade Fencing?

Palisade fencing is a highly popular form of perimeter security fencing which can be seen protecting a wide range of locations such as industrial sites, airports and other such locations where security levels need to be high.
Palisade fencing comprises of a series of vertical bars, which are known as pales. These pales are spaced along, and secured in place by two horizontal rails, one running along the top and the other along the bottom. This fencing design allows for maximum strength and security with a high level of visibility.

In order to create a seamless security perimeter, it is highly recommended to use this 2.4m gate with 2.4m high palisade fencing.

Are 2.4m x 1.2m Pedestrian Palisade Gates Secure?

Pedestrian palisade gates provide an incredible level of strength and stability, providing a safe and secure point of access for pedestrians to your premises. The design of these gates also provides a high level of visibility, suitable for additional security systems such as CCTV.

Standing at 2.4m tall (installed height), this gate also provides a deterrent for any unwanted persons from attempting to gain access to your site by climbing. The tips of each pale are available in either triple pointed, single pointed or round and notched (lead times may apply depending on the pale type selected – please see website for more information). These pale tips are also an effective anti-climb system as they further increase the difficulty of scaling over the top of the fence line.

The final anti climb deterrent that this palisade fencing gate has is the unique ‘W’ shaped profile of each pale. Climbing requires a strong grip, and this W shape makes it incredibly difficult for thieves to acquire a strong enough grip to climb over.

Each 2.4m x 1.2m Pedestrian gate has been constructed from high quality cold rolled steel. The use of cold rolled steel for the production of these gates allows them to have an incredible level of strength and durability whilst also keeping the weight to a minimum.

Customise your Palisade Gate

To keep your gate looking great for years to come, each 2.4m pedestrian palisade gate has been finished with a high-quality galvanised finish which is compliant with the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. In addition to this, it is also possible to have your gate finished with a Polyester Powder Coated (PPC) finish. These coatings can not only make your fencing line look much more visually appealing, it also provides an additional level of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and rust formation.
