2.4m High Securifor 358 Mesh Fencing Kit - SR1 Rated
The 2.4m High Securifor®358 system (SR1 Rated) available from First Fence is a heavy-duty, high-security configuration with anti-climb mesh panels and accompanying fixings and posts. This system is often seen surrounding schools, parks and leisure and recreation areas where a robust security structure is important, but the location needs a more discreet and subtle-looking defence.
Areas such as prisons and military establishments will utilise taller panels and include razor or barbed wire for added security. This type of security mesh is often referred to as Prison Mesh as this is what it was first designed for. There is excellent through visibility making it compatible with a CCTV system for monitoring a boundary, and it will be a very robust first line of defence against intrusion.
The anti-climb mesh panels are constructed from Gauge 8 wire to form a rectangular pattern. The small mesh apertures make it difficult for someone to get a secure finger or toe-hold and impede an opportunistic attempt at scaling a security panel. To gain an SR1 rating, the product must be able to withstand a 60 second assault utilising regular hand tools, such as wire cutters and prybars.
This 358 Mesh Kit is available in the following heights from First Fence; 2.0m, 2.4m and 3.0m. Each kit contains a 358 Mesh panel, intermediate post of the appropriate height, fixings and insert cap for the open end of the post. The post and panel are fixed together with a clamp bar which gives a nice finish, however it prevents attempts at prising open the joins. Available as a dig in format and will require Post Mix to secure in place.
The Prison Mesh Kit is available in Green or Anthracite as standard. Please get in touch for custom colour requests. It is also available in a Bolt Down format, again please contact us to discuss this option.
