This 2.1m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is useful for making a vehicle entry point for vans and lorries within a Palisade Security Fencing system. It is easy to install and can be connected to palisade security fencing structures of the same height. By installing this gate you can successfully control when your site can be accessed and keep it protected when the gate is not in use. This gate consists of two gates leaves which can be opened together or one at a time. It also contains a sliding latch bolt and two drop bolts which release the palisade gate to open and secure it in place when it is shut. You can also use a Heavy-Duty Padlock to add extra security to your palisade fencing and gate, which can be ordered as a customisation option.

You may erect this palisade gate in various locations and on different types of hard and soft ground using gate posts. However, each type of gate post available will have different compatibilities with different ground surfaces, so it is important to choose the right one. Dig-In posts are compatible with soft ground types, whereas Bolt Down posts are compatible with hard ground types. You will be able to select the correct type of posts for your gate when placing your order above. At a height of 2.1m, this gate is appropriate for locations that are seen as having a medium level security risk.

Features and Manufacture

This 2.1m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is made from quality steel and has undergone a cold rolling process to mould its shape. This process is really effective as it enables the palisade gate to become more lightweight but still retain a high level of strength and robustness; therefore making it extremely dependable once installed. The gate is also formed in a way to help prevent the action of climbing as much as possible and this is achieved through the design of the pales. The pales are very tough to grip due to their ‘W’ profile shape, which means that potential intruders will find it difficult to pull themselves up to then climb over. The heads of the pales are also designed to restrict the action of climbing. With five different pale types on offer, you can make sure that you choose the right type of pales for the area in which your palisade gate and security fencing will stand.

To help preserve the condition of the palisade gate, we provide it with a galvanised finish. Conforming to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards, galvanisation is carried out by applying a coating of zinc to the steel to help protect it from rust. As this type of gate is used for a permanent purpose, you may also want to supply an additional form of protection to it in order to make it as long-lasting as possible. You can request a Polyester Powder Coating finish for your gate, which will help to protect it from weathering and damage. This finish option can be selected in the customisation section above where there are several RAL colours for you to choose from. Gate Kit

This 2.1m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate will be supplied as a kit. Within this kit you will receive the correct items needed for gate assembly, as well as the correct amount. This is really helpful as you will not be required to order each item individually. Postfix cement and Ground Anchor bolts are not included in this kit so please buy these separately if required.
