2.1m x 4.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate

You may use this 2.1m x 4.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate to form a point of entry for vehicles in a Palisade Security Fencing structure. With two 2.0m wide gate leaves that open out to a width of 4.0m, this gate can allow vehicles like cars and forklifts to pass in and out of a site when authorised to do so. Therefore, this means that you can control who is entering your site and maintain a high level of site security. To keep the palisade gate secure when closed you should use the sliding latch bolt and drop bolts provided with the gate. For additional palisade fencing and gate security you may use a Heavy-Duty Padlock which can be requested in the customisation section above.

Due to its 2.1m height, this palisade gate is suitable for areas that require a medium level of security. Appropriate for construction on different ground types, this 2.1m x 4.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate must be assembled with gate posts that are compatible with the ground that it is being erected on. Therefore, if this gate, along with your Palisade Security Fencing System, is erected on a hard ground surface like concrete, Bolt Down posts will be required; however if this gate is erected on softer ground like grass, then Dig-In posts will need to be used, along with Postfix cement to set them into the foundation holes.

Features and Manufacture

This 2.1m x 4.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can offer fantastic strength and durability due to the cold rolling process used for its production. Made from quality steel, this palisade gate is very robust and can withstand high winds. There are a number of pales that feature within the palisade gate frame and these are designed to help prevent intrusion. With a ‘W’ profile shape, the pales are very hard to grip onto so any attempts at climbing over the fence are greatly restricted. The heads of the pales can also feature either a Round, Round and Notched, Flat, Single Pointed or Triple Pointed design. Each of these pale styles help to restrict climbing attempts; with Single Pointed and Triple Pointed pales also supplying a form of theft deterrence to discourage intruders from making any attempt at climbing. To help protect the palisade gate from rusting, we apply a zinc coating to the steel. This finish is called galvanisation and it successfully meets the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. There is also a Polyester Powder Coating finish available for your gate. This type of finish provides your gate with extra protection against wear and tear and corrosion, along with giving it a more visible and aesthetically pleasing appearance. You can choose from a variety of Polyester Powder Coating RAL colours from the customisation section located at the top of this page. All of these customisable options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.

2.1m x 4.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates will always be supplied with a galvanised finish and triple pointed pales, unless alternative customisation options are selected above.

Gate Kit

All 2.1m x 4.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates are sold as an assembly kit. This kit will include the correct number of pales, posts, fixing bolts, drop bolts and hinges as well as a sliding latch bolt and gate frame to fit into your Palisade Security Fencing System. Post Mix and Ground Anchors are not included within the kit and will need to be ordered individually.
