You can install a 2.1m x 3.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate into Palisade Security Fencing structures which have been constructed in a wide range of locations. This palisade gate is really useful as it enables small vehicles such as cars and forklifts to enter your site when access has been granted. When the gate is not in use, it is secured with the sliding bolt where it effectively becomes a part of the fencing structure and helps guard the premises. One drop bolt is also provided for added stability when the palisade gate is closed. A Heavy-Duty Padlock may be used to securely lock the gate, and this can be requested as a customisation option, adding extra security to your security fencing and palisade gate.
As this palisade gate is 2.1m high, it is suitable for construction in areas which possess a medium level security risk. It can be installed on both hard and soft types of ground and this will ultimately determine which type of Posts will need to be used. Bolt Down Posts should be used if your security fencing and palisade gate is to be assembled on hard ground e.g. a concrete surface. Dig-In Posts should be used if you intend to erect your gate on softer types of ground e.g. grass. You will also require Postfix cement to set Dig-In Posts into the foundation holes and suitable Ground Anchor Bolts for Bolt Down Posts.
This 2.1m x 3.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate is very durable and robust. It is made from cold rolled steel which is lighter in weight but still very strong. In order to help with the prevention of rust formation on the gate, a zinc coating is applied. The application of this coating is called galvanisation. It complies with BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards and is very effective. This palisade gate can be supplied with greater protection through a Polyester Powder Coating. By applying this, your gate is more resistant to wear and corrosion. This is available in a range of RAL colours. You can also find these options when ordering your Palisade Security Fencing System.
You can choose Round and Notched, Round, Single Pointed, Triple Pointed or Flat types of pales to feature within your palisade gate. Each pale type makes attempts at scaling very difficult and Triple Pointed and Single Pointed pales are specifically designed to work as a theft deterrent due to their intimidating appearance. In order to prevent intruders gaining a grip on the palisade gate to climb over, the pales contain a clever ‘W’ shaped profile. Each 2.1m x 3.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate will automatically be supplied with a galvanised finish and pales that have a Triple Pointed design. However, you may change any of these gate features by choosing from a variety of customisation options located at the top of this product page. All of these customisation options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.
We supply all our 2.1m x 3.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gates as a kit. Each kit will include the necessary parts and fixings ready to start gate construction. These are; fixing bolts, pales, posts, one drop bolt, one sliding latch bolt, two hinges and the gate frame to fit into your Palisade Security Fencing System. By purchasing a gate kit, your ordering time is greatly reduced as items do not need to be bought individually. The only items that we do not include within our kits are Ground Anchor Bolts and Postfix cement, so you will need to buy these separately.
We have a range of customisation options that you can choose for your gate. These options allow you to select which type of posts, pales and finish you would like, along with the addition of a Heavy-Duty Padlock to provide extra gate security.
