2.1m x 2.0m Pedestrian Palisade Security Gate

This 2.1m x 2.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate can be installed within a Palisade Security Fencing system, where it will effectively function as a 2.0m wide access point for small sized vehicles like forklifts. It easily swings open to allow one lane of traffic to pass through and it is then fastened shut with a sliding bolt and drop bolt. It is not suitable for large vehicles however, as these will require a wider gate for access. At 2.1m high, this palisade gate is appropriate for locations which have a medium level security risk.

Extremely versatile, this palisade gate, along with your security fencing, can be assembled in a variety of locations. It may also be constructed on a range of different grounds; however you will need to ensure that you select the appropriate type of posts for a safe, successful installation. For construction on softer types of ground you will need to use Dig-In Posts along with Postfix cement to set them into the ground. Or, for construction on harder ground surfaces such as concrete, you should use Bolt Down Posts with the correct type of Ground Anchor Bolt that is suitable to your ground type.

This palisade gate offers great security to a range of sites. Although primarily used as a wide pedestrian gate and to allow small vehicle access, this gate also helps to protect your premises from damage, theft or intrusion by becoming an integrated part of your Palisade security fencing.

Features and Manufacture

This palisade gate is made from steel and is able to offer a significant amount of strength and robustness. This is due to the process of cold rolling, which is used for its manufacture, whereby the steel is made thinner and lighter; although its strength is in no way compromised. The palisade gate is also provided with a zinc coating which helps to protect it from rusting. This coating is called galvanisation and it conforms to the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. If you require further protection for your gate, you can opt to have a Polyester Powder Coating. This effectively helps to protect your palisade gate from damage and corrosion, as well as giving it a colourful appearance. We have a range of RAL colours available for you to choose from. The pales that feature within this palisade gate are designed to be hard to climb, due to their ‘W’ shaped profile. By adopting this shape, gripping the pales is made very difficult, so scaling opportunities and intrusion will be significantly limited. To make this gate even tougher to climb, the tops of the pales will contain either a Single Pointed, Triple Pointed, Round and Notched, Round or Flat design. Each of these possesses different levels of safety and intimidation factors. Please note that all 2.1m x 2.m Single Leaf Palisade Gates will be galvanised and feature Triple Pointed Pales as standard unless altered though customisation. Gate Kit

2.1m x 2.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gates will always be supplied as an assembly kit. These kits are really handy as they contain the correct components needed for gate assembly, which means that items do not need to be ordered separately. Within your kit you will receive the necessary gate parts – posts, pales and the gate frame, to fit into your Palisade Security Fencing System, and all of the gate fixings – two hinges, drop bolt, fixing bolts and a sliding latch bolt. You will not be supplied with Postfix cement or Ground Anchor Bolts though so these will need to be added to your shopping cart separately.
