2.1m x 10.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate

This 2.1m x 10.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is suitable for allowing site access to vans and HGV’s. Easily attachable to 2.1m high Palisade Security Fencing structures, this gate can enable vehicle entry when needed, as well as keeping the site protected from damage and intrusion when it is not in operation. The palisade gate encompasses two 5.0m wide gate leaves which; when opened together, create a driving space that is 10.0m wide. When the gate is closed it will effectively merge with the palisade security fencing structure, where it should then be secured by a sliding latch bolt and two drop bolts. To make this gate even more secure you may use a Heavy-Duty Padlock, which can be ordered as a customisation option above.

The great thing about this palisade gate is its ability to be erected on many different types of ground. However, the type of ground which you choose to install your security fencing and palisade gate upon will influence which gate posts you can use, so it is very important to take this into consideration. To erect this palisade gate on a hard ground surface you should use Bolt Down posts, but to erect it on a softer ground surface you should use Dig-In posts, along with the correct amount of Postfix cement to set them. Standing 2.1m high, this gate is appropriate for areas possessing a medium level risk to their security.

Features and Manufacture

Possessing great strength and stability, this 2.1m x 10.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is extremely dependable. It is manufactured from cold rolled steel, which means that the gate is thinner and more lightweight, but still just as strong. As well as preventing intrusion through its great strength, this palisade gate is also designed in a way to restrict intruders climbing over the palisade fence. Each pale that features within the gate frame has been moulded into a ‘W’ profile shape, in order to make gripping of the pales difficult. Each pale head also features a Round, Round and Notched, Triple Pointed, Single Pointed or Flat design, which also restricts any climbing activity. These pale types offer different amounts of safety and intimidation factor, so you must make sure you choose the most appropriate one for your site. This palisade gate is also galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards. This effectively means that the steel has been given a zinc coating to help protect it from rust. You can also have your 2.1m x 10.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate polyester powder coated so that it has better protection against the effects of weathering, and also damage and wear. By choosing this type of finish, your palisade gate will also be able to adopt a more colourful and aesthetically pleasing look. Polyester Powder Coating is available as a customisation option. This gate will be supplied with a standard galvanised finish and triple pointed pales, unless alternative gate preferences are requested when placing the order

Gate Kit

2.1m x 10.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates will be supplied as a kit containing all of the parts and fixtures needed for assembly. By receiving this kit, items will not have to be ordered individually. Post Mix and Ground Anchors are not included within this kit and will need to be ordered individually if required.
