2.1m High 'W' Section Palisade Security Fencing Kit
Product Description
2.1m High 'W' Section Palisade Security Fencing Kit
The 2.1m High 'W' Section Palisade Security Fencing Kit provides a strong and reliable perimeter solution for sites requiring a medium level of security. Manufactured from galvanised cold-rolled steel, this robust system is designed for permanent installation on both soft and hard ground.
Palisade fencing is a traditional and widely used security solution for industrial, commercial and public sites. Its imposing appearance and anti-climb design provide an effective deterrent against unauthorised access, while its durable construction ensures long-term performance.
Our Palisade security fencing is also self-raking, allowing it to accommodate ground inclines of up to 30 degrees and making it suitable for sloped boundaries.
Where Can 2.1m Palisade Fencing Be Used?
The 2.1m height provides a strong perimeter for a range of applications, including:
- Industrial sites
- Schools and educational facilities
- Commercial premises and businesses
- Sites containing valuable stock or equipment
- Water treatment plants and power stations
- Bus and railway stations
What Makes Palisade Fencing Secure?
The 2.1m High Palisade Fencing Kit features 'W' section pales with triple-pointed tops. The profile is difficult to grip, while the pointed ends create an effective deterrent against climbing.
The pales are manufactured from cold-rolled steel and galvanised with a protective zinc coating to help prevent rust and corrosion. Anti-tamper fixings also make the system difficult to dismantle, helping to maintain the integrity of the perimeter.
The close spacing between the pales helps prevent larger objects from being passed through, providing an additional layer of protection against intrusion, theft and vandalism.
Single-pointed, and round and notched pales are also available to suit different security and aesthetic requirements.
What Is Included?
Each 2.1m High 'W' Section Palisade Security Fencing Kit includes:
- 1 x Palisade fencing post – dig-in or bolt-down
- 17 x 'W' section palisade fencing pales
- 1 x Palisade fencing top rail
- 1 x Palisade fencing bottom rail
- 2 x Palisade fencing fishplates
- 4 x M12 x 30mm bolts and shear nuts
- 34 x M8 x 25mm bolts and shear nuts
Triple-pointed pales are supplied as standard, with single-pointed and round and notched options available.
Compatible Accessories and Gates
For additional perimeter protection, consider adding razor or barbed wire to the top of your palisade fencing. Support brackets are also available to help maintain the wire's position.
A palisade security gate can be added to create a secure access point for pedestrians or vehicles. A range of widths and styles is available to suit different site requirements.
Installation Guidance
Palisade fencing is supplied as individual components and requires assembly on-site. For detailed installation information, please refer to our palisade fencing installation guide.
The kit is available with either dig-in or bolt-down posts:
- Dig-in posts: Designed for softer ground, such as grass or soil. The post is installed into a prepared hole and secured using Post Mix cement, which is sold separately.
- Bolt-down posts: Suitable for hard surfaces such as concrete, where excavation may not be practical. The posts feature a base plate with four pre-drilled holes for securing with ground anchor bolts, sold separately.
If your fencing run does not join back on itself, an additional end post kit will be required.
Installation requirements can vary depending on ground conditions, fence style and site requirements. Installation guidance is provided as a recommendation, so we recommend consulting a suitable installer before beginning your project.
For a professional finish and hassle-free installation, our nationwide supply and install service is also available.
