This 2.0m x 4.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate is really useful for allowing forklifts, cars and small vans to enter your site through a Palisade Fencing system. This Palisade Gate has a height of 2.0m so it is better suited to areas which have a lower security risk. By installing a Palisade Gate within your Palisade Fencing, you can successfully monitor your site access and ensure a continuous workflow, along with effectively securing your premises when the site is not in operation. To secure this Palisade Gate you should use the sliding bolt and lower drop bolt which are provided in your Palisade Gate kit. If you would like your security fencing and Palisade Gate to have additional safety and security, you can order a Heavy-Duty Padlock to lock the Palisade Gate entirely.
The type of ground on which you choose to construct your security fencing and Palisade Gate will ultimately determine which kind of gate posts you will need to use. If you intend to assemble this Palisade Gate on hard types of ground like concrete, you will require Bolt Down Posts. However if you intend to assemble this palisade gate on softer types of ground such as grass, you should use Dig-In Posts and then Postfix cement to set them into the foundation holes. This Palisade Gate is extremely resilient to weather conditions like wind and storms and can be erected in a range of locations.
Made from strong quality steel, this 2.0m high Palisade Gate offers great security and durability. Moulded by a cold rolling process, the Palisade Gate pales encompass a profile which is ‘W’ shaped and this makes gripping the palisade pales very difficult. Therefore, the risk of intrusion is greatly reduced. The Palisade Gate is also very tough to climb because of the design of the pale heads.
This Palisade Gate is supplied with a galvanised finish which conforms to the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. The purpose of galvanisation is to supply the Palisade Gate with a coating of zinc, which effectively helps to prevent it from rusting. If you would like your Palisade Gate to have extra protection from corrosion and damage, a Polyester Powder Coating can be requested. This will also make your Palisade Gate more visible and give it an appearance which is more aesthetically pleasing. Please note that all Palisade Gates will be supplied galvanised and with Triple Pointed pales as standard, unless altered through customisation.
When you order a 4.0m wide Palisade Gate you will be supplied with a kit with all of the necessary parts and fixings for gate construction. The kit will include the gate frame, to fit into your Palisade Fencing, along with the correct amount of posts, pales, fixing bolts, hinges, plus one drop bolt and one sliding latch bolt. The only items which are not included in the Palisade Gate kit are the Postfix cement and Ground Anchor Bolts for the posts, so you will need to include these in your shopping cart.
To ensure that your Palisade Gate meets all of your needs, you can customise it with a number of options. These are: a galvanised or Polyester Powder Coating finish, Post type, Pale type and the addition of a Heavy-Duty Padlock. Customisation options are located at the top of this page.
