The 2.0m x 2.0m single leaf palisade gate kit creates a safe point of access for both pedestrians and smaller vehicles such as cars and forklift trucks whilst also providing a strong and secure deterrent for intruders when not in use. Each gate is designed to last with its cold rolled steel construction and galvanised finish.

Palisade fencing can be seen in use protecting various properties and sites around not just the UK but around the world. It is typically used around sites which require a higher level of security such as airports and other high-risk areas. Each palisade fencing kit comes as individual components which, unlike mesh which comes in a large panel form, is much easier to transport to site and install. Palisade fencing comprises of a series of vertical bars, which are also known as pales. These pales are spaced out between two posts and held securely in place with the use of two horizontal bars, one running along the bottom and the other along the top. The spacing between each pale provides a high level of visibility for any additional security systems such as CCTV that you may have, without having to sacrifice on strength.

Palisade fencing is an incredibly strong and tough perimeter security solution and our 2.0m x 2.0m single leaf gates are no exception. Each gate has been constructed in the UK to our highest standards using cold rolled steel. The construction and use of cold rolled steel mean that each gate is highly resistant to vandalism and damage by any intruders.
Cold rolled steel has another major benefit than just strength, each component can be made thinner and lighter whilst retaining a high level of strength and rigidity. This reduced weight makes transportation to site and installation much easier.
To prevent any would-be intruders from scaling your fencing line to gain access, each gate has several anti-climb deterrents. The first of these is the W shaped profile of each of the pales, this profile shape makes it incredibly difficult for an intruder to maintain a strong enough grip to climb over. Another deterrent is that each of the pales which make up this 2.0m gate have a pointed top, these tops would be triple pointed as standard, though they are also available in either single point or rounded and notched (please note: lead times may apply). These pointed tops help to make the gate look far more intimidating and also prove to make climbing over by any especially determined intruders far more difficult.
Each of the 2.0m x 2.0m palisade gates comes with a drop bolt which can be used to hold the gate open safely and securely whilst in use. When the gate is not being used, the drop bolt can double up as an additional security measure, holding the gate closed in conjunction with the gates sliding latch bolt.
In order to protect the steel from the damaging effects of weathering and rust, each gate is given a high-quality galvanised finish which meets the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. It is also possible to have your gate supplied with a Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) in a range of RAL colours.
There are many benefits to using palisade fencing to secure your perimeter, including:
Each of the gate kits includes the following:
To provide an additional layer of protection and to create a more visually pleasing fencing line it is possible to have these gates finished with a high quality Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) in a variety of RAL colours.
