Strong, stylish and cost effective, this range of 2.0m high single leaf standard vertical bar railing gates is ideal for a variety of applications such as garden gates or as an access point for public spaces such as parks. Available in a range of widths from 2.0m to 5.0, to allow access for pedestrians or even vehicles such as lawn mowers.
Each Vertical bar metal railing gate has been designed and manufactured to the highest standards by our team of expert fabricators, ensuring that each and every gate will be strong and stable for years to come. So that the gates will withstand the harsh outdoor environments, each 2.0m high vertical bar metal railing gate has been made from high quality pre-galvanised steel, the zinc coating of which will prevent the formation of rust and corrosion.
To make sure that the gate leafs are securely closed each gate is supplied with a sliding latch gate leaf and catch post. If additional security is required, the gate slider can be locked in place with the use of a heavy duty padlock (sold separately).
Each single leaf vertical bar railing gate is also supplied with a drop bolt which can be used to hold the gate open for extended periods of time, as well as helping to further secure the gate closed when it is not in use.
So that these gates can be installed in as many locations as possible, the 2.0m high single leaf standard vertical bar railing gates are available with either dig in or bolt down posts.
Dig in posts – Dig in posts are an ideal choice for locations where holes can be dug easily. This type of post is longer than the bolt down version, which allows some of the post to be placed into the hole and then held securely in place with the use of post mix (sold separately)
Bolt down posts – This particular type of post is most commonly seen in areas where digging holes may not be possible, such as places where the ground has been covered in concrete. The bolt down posts feature a fixed base plate which allows the post to be secured in place with the use of ground anchor bolts (sold separately)
As standard, each of the 2.0m high single leaf vertical bar railing gates is finished with a high-quality galvanised zinc coating. These coatings provide the gates with a fantastic looking silver finish whilst also greatly improving their functional lifespan by increasing their resistance to rust and corrosion.
If you require a gate that’s a little more colourful, it is possible to order these gates with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These coatings are available in a wide range of RAL colours to suit any location and provide the steel with a secondary layer of protection against rust and weathering.
(Please note: lead times for PPC finishes apply, please see the colour options or contact our knowledgeable sales team for more information)
In the event that these coatings should become damaged, either through accidents or acts of vandalism, touch up spray cans are available. These easy to apply paints can quickly restore the protective coating and leave your gates looking great.
Adding gate restrainers to your vertical bar railing gate can help to reduce the risk of accident and injury occurring in the unfortunate event of the gate hinges failing. These incredibly strong braided stainless-steel restrainers are quick and easy to install to the hinge post and gate leaf, and as the name implies, they ‘restrain’ the gate leafs and prevent them from falling.
