1.8m x 4.0m Single Leaf Palisade Security Gate
You should use a 1.8m x 4.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate when you need to form a point of access to enable small vehicles to pass in and out of your site. Vehicles such as cars and forklifts are suitable for this type of Palisade Gate. This Palisade Gate easily swings open to create a large access space and is secured with a drop bolt and sliding bolt when it is closed. When the gate is shut it will become an integrated part of your Palisade Fencing structure. You should install this Palisade Gate in locations that do not possess a high security risk.
Durable, stable and strong, this Palisade Gate is very weather resistant and long-lasting. This Single Leaf Palisade Gate, along with your Palisade Fencing System, can be assembled on both hard and soft types of ground. For harder types of ground such as concrete, you should use Bolt Down Posts along with ground anchor bolts and for softer types of ground like grass, you should use Dig-In Posts along with Postfix cement to set them in place.
Features and Manufacture
This 1.8m x 4.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate is manufactured from steel which has been cold rolled to form its shape. The steel is also galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards, which helps to prevent the formation of rust. If you wish to provide extra protection to your Palisade Gate, you can request a Polyester Powder Coating finish. Polyester Powder Coating gives your Palisade Gate a colourful and bolder appearance and makes it more durable and resilient to corrosion, damage or general wear.
Each of the palisade pales that feature within this Palisade Gate possesses a ‘W’ shape profile which is very hard to grip, so climbing activity is greatly limited. The top of the pales also helps to prevent anyone scaling the Palisade as they have an intimidating appearance and work as a theft deterrent. When you order a 1.8m x 4.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate you will be supplied with standard Triple Pointed pales and a galvanised finish, unless altered within the customisation section.
Gate Kit
We always supply our Palisade Gates as a kit with the necessary components for assembly. The only items that we do not include within our kits are Postfix cement and Ground Anchor Bolts, so you need to order these as additional items if required for your Palisade Gate system.
