Introducing Recycled Plastic Closed Board Fencing

First Fence’s recycled fencing range is crafted from Plaswood, an advanced material made from recycled plastic that resembles real wood. Engineered to withstand severe weather, including temperature extremes, UV rays, and moisture, Plaswood outperforms natural wood by resisting rot, warping, splintering, and insect infestations. Both the fencing and its materials are thoroughly tested by independent experts to ensure top quality, and the recycling process converts waste into sustainable products.

The 1.8m high closed board system is made up of posts, horizontal rails and vertical pales. Each 3.1m bay is made up of two posts, two horizontal rails and 28 pales and 2 centre pales (30 in total). An end post is used to finish the run.

This 1.8m vertical centre pale is used in the middle of each half of the 3.1m bay, the extra length touching the ground adding support. Two centre pales are needed per 3.1m bay.

The system is relatively easy to fix together with are easily fixed in place with twin flight, parallel thread, coarse pitch screws, similar to those used with wooden particle boards or hi-low screws.

This is a dig-in fencing system and requires one bag of post mix per post. It is recommended that posts are installed at 1.5m post centre intervals.
