Features and Benefits
Twin Mesh Gates create a safe and secure access point into a Mesh Fencing system for both pedestrians and small vehicles. It is a strong, durable fencing and gate style and lacks the very austere, intimidating look of other security fencing, so is useful in a public setting where you need security, but the aesthetics matter too. Many local authorities recommend its use around children's playgrounds, schools, parks, and leisure facilities for this reason.
A secure fencing structure will need a secure gate and the First Fence Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit will be ideal. These gates come in a variety of widths and heights and can accommodate pedestrian and small vehicle access, depending on your needs. This particular mesh gate is 1.5m high and 5.0m wide. The double leaf gate is available as a bolt down or dig in variety, as a general rule, softer ground will need the dig in and hard ground substance the bolt down option.
A double gate design gives more security than a single leaf, making it more difficult for an intruder to gain access as there is an extra barrier to overcome. Having two leaves gives more stability and rigidity to the structure which is particularly beneficial with larger gates or in an area subject to high winds or other factors affecting its dependability.
A sliding latch holds the gate closed and this can be secured further by adding a heavy duty padlock. The Double Leaf Gate Kit includes dropbolts to keep the gate in place when closed.
The Kits are manufactured on-site from pre-galvanised steel which is strong and hard-wearing and has a resistance to rust and other corrosions. They come polyester powder coated in a variety of RAL colours, non-standard colours are available too. Powder coating gives the gate a pleasing look and another layer of defence against the damaging effects of the weather or general daily use.

The First Fence Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit includes two gate leaves, gate posts, ribbed inserts for the posts and frame, and adjustable gate eyebolts. Ground Anchor Bolts or Post Mix are not included in the kit so will need to be added to your order. A range of mesh fencing accessories are also available to purchase.
