Features and Benefits
Twin Mesh is a heavy-duty system that is made up of two 8mm thick horizontal steel wires and 6mm thick vertical wires that form the close gap mesh structure that makes it such a recognisable fencing material. It is incredibly strong and can withstand many types of vandalism attack, yet it doesn’t look as brutally intimidating as other forms of security fencing. One of the advantages of this type of fencing material is its visibility, which makes it compatible with CCTV system, and allowing a clear view of the surroundings. When you need a good level of defence yet also are concerned with the aesthetics, then this might be a good choice for your project.
Once the fence is installed, you need a gate to give you an access point. First Fence’s Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit contains all the items needed to erect your new gateway, including the gate leaves, posts, and adjustable eyebolts. This type of gate kit is available in a range of heights and widths and will match mesh fencing of the same format from First Fence.
Double Leaf gates provide a wider point of access than a single leaf and with two swinging panels they give a larger entry way for smaller vehicles or pedestrians. When closed they can be secured with two dropbolts and a heavy duty padlock added too.
This kit is 1.5m high and 2.0m wide and is manufactured from pre-galvanised steel which is sturdy, reliable and resistant to rust and corrosion which ensures the gate's longevity. The Mesh Gate Kit is available as a dig in or bolt down option, depending on the ground substance that it is to be erected on; softer ground will require the dig in option and hard ground substance will require the bolt down version. It is advised to use this kit with mesh fencing systems of the same height to achieve a uniform look. This is also available as a single leaf gate.
You can choose to have your double leaf gate polyester powder coated in a variety of RAL colours which will greatly add to its overall look and give it a very high quality finish, additionally, this coating will give further protection from damage and adverse weather conditions too. Non-standard RAL colours are also available.
Please Note: When attaching your gate to our mesh fencing, additional M8 x 40mm bolts and mesh fencing clips will be required.
Included in this kit
This Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit contains two gate leaves, two hinge gate posts, adjustable gate eyebolts, and ribbed inserts for the posts and frame. You will need to add Post Mix and Ground Anchor Bolts to your order as this does not come with the kit. A padlock can be added for that extra touch of security.
