1.5m High Double Leaf Standard Vertical Bar Railing Gate Kit
Strong and stylsh, these high-quality metal gates with a vertical bar design are the ideal choice for use in home gardens, to secure driveways or for use in public areas to allow vehicular access to locations such as parks or schools.
These excellent looking double leaf gates are available in a wide range of widths starting from 2.0m through to 10.0m, allowing them to accommodate anything from large crowds of pedestrians, to multiple lanes of vehicles.
Made to our highest standards by our expert team of fabricators, ensuring that each of the gates is strong and robust. To ensure that each gate is resistant to the elements, they have been made from excellent quality galvanised steel, the zinc coating of which protects the steel from the damaging effects of weathering and rust.
To secure the gate leafs closed when not in use, preventing them from swinging open and causing potential injury, each double leaf steel vertical bar gate is supplied with a sliding latch leaf and a catch leaf.
Each of the gate leafs can be opened and closed independently of one another, which can be used to regulate the flow of traffic into a perimeter. To hold each of the gate leafs open or secure them closed, these gates are supplied with two drop bolts.
So that these metal 1.5m double leaf vertical bar railing gates can be installed in as many different locations as possible, they are available with either dig in or bolt down posts.
Dig in posts – The dig in posts are ideal for locations in which the ground type is soft enough for holes to be dug easily. These posts are longer than the bolt down versions, allowing a section of the post to be placed into the hole and secured in place with the use of post mix (sold separately).
Bolt down posts – Bolt down posts are suited towards locations where the ground may have been covered with a hard surface such as concrete, which would make digging holes costly or impractical. These posts have a base plate attached which allows the ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to fix the post securely to the ground surface.
Each gate kit includes:
- 1 x Sliding latch gate leaf
- 1 x Catch gate leaf
- 2 x Hinge gate post
- 4 x Adjustable gate eye
- 2 x Drop bolt

As standard, each of these high-quality metal double leaf gates has been finished with a galvanised zinc coating. These provide the steel with a layer of protection against weathering and corrosion, whilst giving the gates a fantastic silver look.
As well as the galvanised finish, it is possible to order these 1.5m high double leaf vertical bar metal railing gates with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These fantastic hard wearing coatings are available in a wide range of RAL colours, allowing you to create an eye catching access point to your perimeter.

Gate restrainers are an incredibly simple, yet highly effective gate safety accessory. These strong stainless steel cords are easy to install to the gate post and gate leaf and effectively ‘restain’ the gate leaf, preventing it from falling in the unfortunate and unlikely event of the hinges failing. By preventing the leaf from falling it helps to greatly reduce the risk of injury to anyone who may be near or using the gate at the time of failure.
