A strong, versatile and fantastic looking gate system, the 1.5m high double leaf standard bow top railing gates are available in a range of sizes from 2.0m to 10.0m making them an ideal choice for creating access points within a rail fence perimeter. They can be used as front or back garden gates, to secure driveways or be used as access points for public spaces such as parks or play areas.
Each and every one of these metal standard bow top gates has been made to our highest standards by our expert team of fabricators, ensuring that these gates will remain strong and stable for many years. To protect them from the damaging effects of weathering and rust, superior quality galvanised steel is used, the zinc coating of which adds a layer of protection against rust formation.
To secure these gates closed, preventing the gate leafs from blowing open, which may cause potential injury, each 1.5m high double leaf bow top gate is supplied with a sliding latch leaf and a catch leaf. The sliding latch can also be locked into position, preventing unauthorised access with the use of a heavy duty padlock (sold separately).
These gates are also supplied with two drop bolts which can be used to hold the leafs open for extended periods of time. As these leafs can be opened independently of one another it means that entry could be restricted to an area by holding one gate open and keeping the other closed.
The 1.5m high double leaf standard bow top gates are available with either dig in or bolt down posts, allowing them to be installed in a wide range of locations.
Dig in posts – The dig in post is ideal for areas where it would be easy for holes to be dug. Using longer posts than the bolt down systems, allowing for some of the post to be placed into the hole and secured in place with the use of post mix (sold separately)
Bolt down posts – The bolt down posts are suitable for locations where it may not be possible to dig holes, such as an area surfaced with concrete. These posts feature a base plate which allows the ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to be drilled into the ground, securing the post in place.
Each of the 1.5m high double leaf bow top standard gates are finished with a high-quality galvanised zinc coating as standard. This coating provides the steel with a layer of protection against weathering and corrosion as well as giving the gates a fantastic looking silver finish.
Should you require a more colourful gate system, it is possible to order these gates with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These excellent looking coatings are available in a wide range of RAL colours, allowing for the creation of a bright and colourful point of entry, or a gate that blends into its environment. The PPC finishes don’t just look great, but add a secondary layer of protection to the steel, further protecting it from the damaging effects of weathering and rust.
