Presenting an aesthetically pleasing and budget-friendly dual-leaf metal gate system, perfect for securing driveways, home gardens, or public spaces like parks and play areas. Available in widths from 2.0m to 10.0m, these flat-top steel railing gates offer versatile access, accommodating anything from pedestrians to multiple lanes of traffic entering or exiting a site.
Crafted by our skilled team of fabricators, these visually appealing double-leaf flat-top railing gates, standing at 1.2m high, are constructed with high-quality galvanised steel. The zinc galvanised finish not only enhances their appearance but also serves as a protective layer, shielding the steel from the detrimental impacts of weathering and rust. The robust construction ensures a durable and secure access point, ensuring these gates maintain their aesthetic appeal for years to come.
Supplied with a sliding latch, the standard flat-top railing gates, standing at 1.2m high, include this feature that allows the gate to be securely closed when not in use. For additional security, the gate leaves can be further locked using a heavy-duty padlock (available separately), effectively preventing unauthorised access.
Individual operation is possible for each gate leaf, allowing control over the traffic flow entering and exiting a perimeter system. The leaves can be held open for prolonged durations using drop bolts, providing flexibility. Additionally, the drop bolts serve to enhance the gate's security when it is not actively in use.
To facilitate installation in various settings, these gates can be equipped with either dig-in or bolt-down posts.
Dig in posts – The dig in posts have been created for use in areas where holes can be easily dug, such as soft ground such as turf or soil. These posts are longer than the bolt down variants, allowing for part of the post to be placed into the hole and secured in place with post mix (sold separately).
Bolt down posts – Bolt down posts are designed for areas in which the ground surface may have been concreted, making digging holes impractical for cost or logistical reasons. These posts are supplied with pre-attached base plates which allow ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to be used to hold the posts securely in place.
As standard, each 1.2m high double leaf gate has a galvanised, zinc coating. This provides the gates with a fantastic silver finish, whilst also providing a layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and rust corrosion.
You can also introduce a burst of colour to your rail fencing system by opting for a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These premium finishes come in a diverse range of RAL colours, providing the flexibility for gates to seamlessly blend into their surroundings or stand out with vibrant, eye-catching entry points.
The installation of a gate restrainer to your new 1.2m high metal railing gate can help to increase safety. They greatly reduce the risks of accident or injury in the unlikely and unfortunate event that the gate hinges should fail. Quick and easy to install, these incredibly strong stainless-steel cables “restrain” the gate leaves, preventing them from falling and causing injury to users.
