The purpose of this 2.0m x 5.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is to provide an access point within a Palisade Fencing structure, to enable small to medium sized vehicles to pass through when required. This Palisade Gate contains two gate leaves which are both 2.5m in width and which meet in the centre when they are closed. Opening to a total width of 5.0m, this Palisade Gate allows vehicles like forklifts and cars to drive through; although only one lane of traffic can be permitted at one time. When the Palisade Gate is inactive it is secured by lowering the drop bolts into the ground and shifting the sliding latch bolt across. You can also completely lock your Palisade Gate by using a Heavy-Duty Padlock and this can be selected within the customisation section. By installing this type of gate along with your Palisade Fencing system, you can ensure that the workflow of your site is continuous, as well as making sure that your premises and equipment are protected when no one is present at the site.
This Palisade Gate is 2.0m high and is suitable for low security risk locations. The security gate can be erected on many different types of ground and in many areas. The type of posts that you will use to construct your Palisade Gate and security fencing will rely heavily on the ground type that you choose to assemble it on. Therefore, if you intend to erect your Palisade Gate on hard surfaces like concrete you should use Bolt Down posts, although if you intend to build your Palisade Gate on softer ground such as grass, you should be using Dig-In posts along with the correct amount of Postfix cement.
Manufactured from cold rolled steel, this Double Leaf Palisade Gate is very robust and long-lasting. By cold rolling the steel it becomes thinner, but it still manages to hold the same level of strength as before. To enhance the durability of this Palisade Gate, it is given a protective galvanised finish which conforms to the recommended BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. This finish is carried out by coating the steel in a layer of zinc, which will ultimately help to prevent the development of rust. You can also provide your Palisade Gate with protection against factors like weathering and damage by requesting it to be polyester powder coated. This type of finish is multifunctional as not only does it supply steel protection, but it also enables your Palisade Gate to adopt a colourful appearance which is more visible and attractive. There are various RAL Polyester Powder Coating colours for you to choose from in the customisation section above.
Each Palisade Gate is supplied with the standard features of triple pointed pales and a galvanised finish, although there is the opportunity to change this by customising your Palisade Gate when you place your order.

5.0m wide Palisade Gates require a number of different parts and fixings for their assembly, so to make ordering much simpler we supply this type of gate as a kit. The only item that does not come included within these kits is Postfix cement so please add this to your shopping cart if this is needed.
