This 2.0m high palisade fencing is designed for permanent installation on hard or soft ground and is suitable for sites requiring a medium level of security.
It is considered as one of the most traditional types of security fencing and is a very popular product for protecting the perimeter of a variety of premises. Palisade fencing is extremely sturdy and is a favoured security solution for industrial and commercial buildings, as well as public areas. Industrial sites, schools, business, utility location and railways stations are all common places that our palisade security fencing is used.
2.0m high palisade fencing is manufactured from high quality cold rolled steel and is supplied with a galvanised finish (zinc coating) to help prevent the development of rust, which is important when a product is in permanent outdoor use. The fencing consists of ‘W’ section pales which are difficult to grip and each feature three spikes/points at the top, to deter intruders from climbing over the security fencing system. We also offer single pointed and round and notched pales, in addition to triple pointed pales for palisade fencing.
Steel palisade fencing is a great way to secure and protect your site from intrusion, damage, or theft. It has an intimidating appearance which very effectively deters people from attempting to gain unauthorised access, and the small spacing between each pale also restricts large objects from being passed through.
Our 2.0m High 'W' Section Palisade Security Fencing Kit contains the following items:
Our kits are available with either dig in or bolt down posts. Dig In posts are designed to be used in soft ground areas such as grasslands, where the ground can easily be dug up. The dig in posts are longer than the bolt down posts as they have extra height for the posts to fit in the ground. Once the hole is dug, the posts can be placed into the hole and secured in place with our fast-setting post mix (sold separately).
However, if you have land where it may be difficult to dig, such as concrete, then our bolt down posts are ideal for you. Our bolt down posts are equipped with a 200x200mm base plate with 4 pre-drilled holes. Ground anchors which can be purchased separately are used to secure the post in place. We recommend 4 ground anchors per post.
If your fencing does not join back on itself, then an additional post kit will be needed to end the run of fencing. Also, if you have any corners in your fencing system, then our corner kits can be used to make our standard posts into a corner.
Installation requirements vary based on ground suitability, installation guides are given as a recommendation only and show the maximum requirements for post holes for dig in systems as well as standard bolt holes for bolt down systems. Please refer to your installer for suitable installation requirements for your site and fence style.
