You can install this 1.8m x 9.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate into a Palisade Fencing system to create an access point which is wide enough for large sized vehicles. Possessing two gate leaves that are both 4.5m wide, this Palisade Gate has the ability to allow vehicles like vans and lorries to pass in an out of your site when authorised to do so. When this Palisade Gate is not being used for access, it is secured by two drop bolts and a sliding latch bolt, and effectively merges with the Palisade Fencing system to form a continuous structure; protecting your site from intrusion. You may also wish to supply additional security to your gate by securing the sliding latch bolt with a Heavy-Duty Padlock.
As this Palisade Gate is 1.8m high, it is recommended that it is used in locations that require a low level of security. You may erect this gate, along with your Palisade Fencing, in many different areas and on various ground types. Hard ground like concrete will require Bolt Down posts, whereas softer ground such as grass will require Dig-In posts and then Postfix cement to set them into the ground.
This 9.0m wide Double Leaf Palisade Gate is very strong and has the ability to remain stable, even during high winds and stormy conditions. The Palisade Gate is made from cold rolled steel and is provided with a galvanised finish which conforms to the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. By galvanising the steel, your Palisade Gate is given a zinc coating which helps to prevent the formation of rust; which can ultimately damage your security gate’s appearance. This Palisade Gate is also available with a Polyester Powder Coating to help protect the gate from weathering and damage. By selecting this type of finish, your gate will also be given a more colourful and aesthetically pleasing appearance. You can choose from various RAL Polyester Powder Coating colours.
As well as being very robust and dependable, this Palisade Gate helps to prevent the intrusion of your premises. This is because of the clever design of the pales that feature in the gate’s construction. Palisade pales help to restrict climbing activity as they encompass a profile which is ‘W’ in shape. The purpose of this is to make gripping the pales very difficult so that potential intruders cannot grab onto them and pull themselves up to climb over the security gate.
We supply all Palisade Gates galvanised and with triple pointed pales as standard. If you wish to change any of these features, you can do so within the customisation section of this page.
All Palisade Gates are provided as a kit which include all the required components for the assembly of your security gate. Please note that Postfix cement is not included within any of our kits so if this is needed, you will need to purchase this separately.
To decide which post types, pale types and finish you would like for your Palisade gate or to opt for a Heavy-Duty Padlock, please make your selection with the customisation section located at the top of this page.
