Features and Benefits
Twin Mesh is a very strong and secure form of fencing and is quite recognisable in its design. The mesh structure is formed from vertical and horizontal steel wires crossing each other, it is difficult to climb (particularly the taller structures) and to cut through with regular tools.
Local authorities often specify its use in public areas such as children's playgrounds and sports facilities, and other places that need a certain level of security but without the ugly, intimidating appearance of other fencing styles.
A fencing structure will require a gateway for safe access in and out by pedestrians, and potentially vehicles too. The First Fence Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit is ideal for this purpose. This gate measures 1.5m high by 4.0m wide.
The mesh gate is available as a dig in or bolt down item; you just need to assess your ground substance before making your choice. Generally, it is advised to use the dig in option for softer ground and the bolt down for harder ground substances.
The Gate Kit comes polyester powder coated in a variety of RAL colours, however non-standard colours are also available so it is possible to match it to a current colour scheme. Powder coating gives the gate a superior-looking finish, but it acts to protect it from weathering and day-to-day wear and tear.
The double leaf mesh gate is kept shut with a sliding latch and this can be further secured with a heavy duty padlock. The Double Leaf Gate Kits also come with drop bolts to secure in place.
Please Note: When attaching your gate to our mesh fencing, additional M8 x 40mm bolts and mesh fencing clips will be required.
Included in this kit
The First Fence Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit contains two gate leaves, hinge gate posts, adjustable gate eyebolts and ribbed inserts. Ground Anchor Bolts or Post Mix need to be ordered in addition to the kit.
