1.2m Wide Pedestrian Standard Bow top Railing Gate Kit
A stylish and cost-effective pedestrian gate solution for your metal rail fencing perimeters. These 1.2m wide bow top gates are available in a range of heights from 1.0m through to 2.4m, allowing them to fit in with any new or existing railing systems.
Featuring a stylish curved bow top design, these gates can be seen as less intimidating than their vertical bar variants. They also remove any potentially sharp points from the top of the gates, making them ideal for use in a wide range of public and private locations such as home gardens, parks, schools and various other public outdoor spaces.
Constructed from high quality galvanised steel by our expert fabrication team, these gates are designed to look great and remain strong and stable for years to come. The zinc galvanised coating provides the steel with a layer of defence against the damaging effects of weathering and rust.
Each pedestrian gate is supplied with a sliding latch, which holds the gate securely closed when it is not in use. These latches can also be used to further secure the gate with the use of a heavy-duty padlock (sold separately), preventing unauthorised access or preventing access at particular hours of the day.
The 1.2m wide pedestrian standard bow top railing gate kits are available with either dig in or bolt down posts, allowing installation in a wide range of locations.
Dig in posts – This type of post is ideal for locations in which the ground is soft enough to allow holes to be easily dug. The dig in post has been designed to be longer than its bolt down variant as a section of these posts will be placed into the hole and secured in place with the use of post mix (sold separately)
Bolt down posts – The bolt down posts are ideal for locations where the ground surface may be covered with concrete which may prevent holes being dug due to cost or logistical issues. These posts have base plates which allow ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to be used to hold the posts securely in place.

- 1 x Catch gate post
- 1 x Hinge gate post
- 2 x Adjustable gate eyes
Customise your gate with a PPC finish
As standard, each bow top gate has been constructed from excellent quality galvanised steel, its zinc finish providing the steel with protection against the damaging effects of weathering. This also provides the gates with an aesthetically pleasing silver finish.
These gates are also available with a fantastic looking, professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These finishes can add a splash of colour to your railing systems, either allowing them to blend in with their surroundings, or stand out, providing a bright and eye-catching point of entry or exit to your perimeter.
These coatings not only look great, but also provide the steel with an additional layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and rust. (Please note: lead times may apply)
