VIDEX Mini-SA2 Standalone Proximity Fob Reader

The VIDEX Mini-SA2 is a proximity fob reader designed for access control systems. It is ideal for many types of setting, including residential buildings or small offices where secure, controlled access is needed.

It's a small, compact unit, ideal for installations where space is limited or a discreet appearance is preferred. The reader is designed to endure a range of environmental conditions, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

The VIDEX proximity reader operates by scanning fobs or cards. Users simply present their fob or card near the reader to gain access. The Mini-SA2 functions independently, without requiring a connection to a network or central controller.

These low-profile standalone proximity readers can read EM4002 type cards or fobs and support up to 4,000 users.

All electronics are housed within the reader itself, eliminating the need for an external controller. The Mini-SA2 features an adjustable timed relay output, a push-to-exit input, and both visual and audible indicators for easy programming.

Programming is carried out through use of a Master and delete card. User cards may be deleted by use of a shadow card if lost or stolen.
