Size 7 Tube Key Clamp Fitting - Swivel Locating Flange (A52)

The Swivel Locating Flange, or A52 as it is also known, is generally used for fixing an angled tube to a wall and is not recommended to be used as an angled base plate. Although the Swivel Locating Flange is riveted together when purchased, the components that make up this fitting are available to be purchased separately; these being a Male Swivel Locating Flange (A50) and a Female Swivel (A42).

For the attachment of the A52 to a wall, M12 Through Bolts (ANC) should be used. These bolts are not included with the fitting and will need to purchased individually.

Here at First Fence, we strongly advise that guardrail or handrail systems do not consist of only swivel type fittings within the construction as this may lead to weaknesses within the structure and may cause the application to fail, therefore posing a risk of injury to its users.

Please note: This particular Swivel Locating Flange is only compatible with Size 7 Tubes that have an outside diameter of 42.4mm.

Manufactured from galvanised steel, this fitting had added protection and resistance against the damaging effects of corrosion and weathering. With this extra longevity, the A52 requires very little to no maintenance after it has been installed.
