Introducing recycled plastic knee rail fencing, a resilient and eco-friendly barrier method of defining boundary lines. This product has been manufactured from Plaswood, a high quality, innovative and durable material. Unlike wood or steel, Plaswood is unaffected by all weather conditions. It is resistant to rot, splinter-free, moisture-repellent, and requires no maintenance.
This range of recycled plastic knee rail fencing is eco-friendly, being made from plastic waste that has been diverted from landfills and ingeniously made into a high-quality alternative to real wood. It is durable, strong, weatherproof, sustainable and maintenance free once correctly installed.
We suggest twin flight, parallel thread, coarse pitch screws similar to those used with wooden particle boards or hi-low screws to fix this system; please note, these do not come with the product.
Knee rail fencing is a low-level type of fence that can be used to mark out boundaries, manage traffic or protect certain areas. It is made up of horizontal rails that are supported by vertical posts, typically at a height just above or around the knees, hence its name.
This type of fencing is versatile and while easily stepped over and giving only a low level of security, it does effectively mark out boundaries and prevents people from walking on lawns or flower beds. It is a cost-effective solution where high security is not the main concern.
To build your kit, choose the meterage of the fencing run and then select your colour and post height.
This is a dig-in only format, designed for most types of ground, and requires post mix to give a solid and secure installation. It is recommended that posts are installed at 1.0m (+/- 50mm) post centre intervals and that you use one bag of post mix per post. For each 3.1m top rail you will need three posts and an end post to finish the run.
This system is available in black or brown and is a dig-in-only format.
