A fantastic looking and robust railing solution, the 1.5m High EnviroRail® Standard Bow Top Railing kits provide a high level of strength and stability for use in a wide range of public and private outdoor spaces. The contemporary bow top design now only looks great, but also removes pointed ends from the top of the bay which may cause injuries, especially in areas such as schools where children may climb on them. Each bay of 1.5m High EnviroRail® Standard Bow Top Railings has been made to last, they have all been constructed to our highest possible standards. This strong and hard-wearing construction means that these railings will stay strong, whilst the professionally applied Polyester Powder Coatings (PPC) provide the railings a layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and rust formation. Each of the kits of 1.5m High EnviroRail® Standard Bow Top Railings comes with a panel, post and the fixings needed to attach the panel to the railing post.
Whilst, visually, the EnviroRail® Standard Bow Top Railings may look like a bay of standard bow top railings, but the differences lie in how these railing bays are made. Whereas standard bow top railings are built primarily using welding to join the components together, the EnviroRail® Bow Top Railings use a unique new manufacturing system which greatly reduces the amount of welding required.
Each of the bays of EnviroRail® Bow Top Railings uses an interlocking system of custom laser cut and formed parts which have been specifically designed to form incredibly strong bonds when they are pressed together. The entire process of manufacture greatly reduces the amount of welding required to complete a bay, reducing the amount of energy and resources consumed.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of pre-galvanised steel hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
So that these railings can be installed in as many locations as possible, the kits can be ordered with either dig in or bolt down posts.
Dig in posts - The dig in posts have been designed to allow these railings to be installed in locations where the ground is soft enough for holes to be dug. These posts are then held securely in place with the use of post mix.
Bolt down posts – Bolt down posts are suitable for locations where the ground may be too hard for holes to be dug, or it may be too costly or time consuming to do so. These posts are supplied with a base plate which allows the posts to be secured in place with the use of ground anchor bolts
Each kit of 1.5m High EnviroRail® Standard Bow Top Railings comes with the following components:
As each kit comes supplied with one post, an additional post may be required to complete your run of bow top railings.
As standard, each of the bays of 1.5m High EnviroRail® are finished with a high quality and professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These coatings can be ordered in a huge range of RAL colours, allowing for the creation of eye-catching perimeters which can be customised to match the colours of your organisation. The steel of the barriers is also protected by these coatings which create a barrier against weathering and rust formation.
In the unfortunate event that the powder coatings should become damaged, either due to accidental damage or through acts of vandalism, it is possible to restore them and the protection they provide quickly and easily with the use of a touch up spray can.
Be sure to take a look at the rest of the EnviroRail® railings that are available. As well as the 1.5m high EnviroRail® Standard Bow Top Railings, there are a range of other heights to meet your requirements. There are also EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Round Railings or EnviroRail® Play Sec Bow Top Railings which provides a safe and child friendly railing alternative for use in playgrounds.
