This is one of the less broad gates in the range however, it excels in effective entry management by allowing the operation of either one or both leaves. For the double leaf configuration, it is recommended to consider adding a locking drop bolt, which is available as an optional purchase.

The EnviroRail® Double Gates represent a fully modular and exceptionally lightweight gate solution, guaranteeing a quick and straightforward installation for various gate hardware needs. With their universally handed configuration, these gates provide on-site flexibility without rigid left or right-hand specifications. This feature allows for adjustments if the gates shift, offering a notable advantage over fixed hardware.

Through the use of an innovative low-weld technique on bespoke-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised elements, these gates achieve strong interconnected joints without relying on resource-intensive and energy-consuming welding. Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

Every EnviroRail® Play Sec Gate Kit is crafted from prime pre-galvanised steel, meeting BS 10346 standards, and is further coated with polyester powder to enhance its durability and resilience. This two-layered protection guarantees prolonged functionality, offering resistance against harsh outdoor elements while maintaining its aesthetic appeal for years to come.

The double-leaf gate kit comprises two hinge posts, two Play Sec Railing leaves, and six adjustable gate eyes. With three hinges per leaf, the gate complies with BS 12604 standards, ensuring safety even in the unlikely event of a hinge failure. The gate hooks are firmly welded to the gate post, creating a fixed-axis hinge that eliminates any up and down movement.

Installation is simplified with pre-drilled holes for gate eyes and a drop bolt, accompanied by plastic plugs to conceal any unused openings on the gate attack face. This not only ensures a polished appearance but also prevents water accumulation inside the structure. Specifically designed to seamlessly integrate with our security locks, the gate allows for up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, facilitating a straightforward installation process.

Safety Compliance

The gate rails set at 100mm centres prevent entrapment, and the top bows of 90mm prevent wrist or neck trapping. The rail positioning allows parents, guardians, or supervisors for easy supervision of children while at play. This enhances overall safety and reduces the risk of accidents. The design and manufacture of the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate fully comply with BS EN 1176 regulations.

The gate provides a 50mm ground clearance when correctly installed, with the gate opening 90° in and out.

Available in various heights and widths, these gates come in a dig-in or bolt-down version, suitable for diverse environments. The dig-in variant requires the addition of Post Mix to the order, while the bolt-down version requires four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
